A man was arrested after causing chaos on an interstate highway in Texas (USA) while attempting to tow a car in reverse.

Police were called to the I-610 highway in Houston after a Ford Explorer driver was seen towing a Saab 9-3 Aero convertible in reverse, causing the vehicle to sway between adjacent lanes.

A video taken by a bystander shows the dangerous scene. While being pulled by a chain attached to the Explorer, the Saab nearly hits other cars in the neighboring lanes.

It is important to remember that the towed vehicle should always face forward, not backward, so that the front wheels do not have the chance to turn and cause an accident.

Although the incident did not cause an accident, the Saab driver, identified as Dante Brown, 32, was arrested. The Explorer driver, Brown’s girlfriend, was not taken into custody.
